Thousands gather to support the Great Lakes for “All Hands on Deck”

People in 64 communities around the Great Lakes gathered for an event called “All Hands on Deck.” Thousands of people held various ceremonies that included handholding, music, drumming and speeches by lawmakers and environmental activists at selected sites along the shorelines of all five of the Great Lakes at 10 a.m. on July 3rd.
