The Month of May is “Conferencepalooza” for The Great Lakes

Is Detroit becoming a hub for conferences involving the environment and the Great Lakes? If the month of May is an example, the answer would have to be yes.

At least three major conferences will be taking place at Detroit’s Cobo Hall, and Detroit Public Television’s Great Lakes Bureau greatlakesnow.org will be there to cover them all.

Greatlakesnow.org will be covering The International Association of Great Lakes Research, IAGLR, which will be held at Cobo Hall May 15^th – May 19^th.

Then – For the first time – San Francisco-based Sustainable Brands comes to Detroit’s Cobo Hall May 22^nd – May 25^th. greatlakesnow.org will be covering this major event for four days.

Then it’s the first-ever Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Green Infrastructure Conference, May 31^st – June 2^nd, also at Cobo Hall. Greatlakesnow.org will be covering the conference in-depth on June 1^st.

Detroit Public Television’s Great Lakes Bureau Chief Mary Ellen Geist will be reporting on the River Rally Conference in Grand Rapids this coming May 8^th, 9^th and 10^th.
