The governments of Canada and the United States will convene a Great Lakes Public Forum, with the International Joint Commission, to:
- Provide an opportunity to discuss and receive public comments on the state of the lakes and binational priorities for science and action; and
- Provide an opportunity for the International Joint Commission to discuss progress reporting.
The Forum is meant to be a periodic venue for significant public input into the implementation of the amended Agreement. It will occur once every three years.
